Learning never stops. Learn about Vision, KPI and Innovation
Vision
The responsibility of crafting the organisation’s vision lies with its founder or CEO. It’s how they see the world in which the business they are leading exists and is successful.
Don’t know what is the vision of your business? Just answer this one question: What does the world look like as a result of your business?
Let’s see how three major global companies define their business vision:
Tesla
Electric cars, batteries, and renewable energy generation and storage already exist independently, but when combined, they become even more powerful – that’s the future we want.
Microsoft
At Microsoft we are dedicated to advancing human and organizational achievement.
McDonald’s
We’re committed to improving the lives of our people, our industry and the planet by putting our customers and employees first, sourcing quality food, reducing waste impact, and expanding job opportunities around the globe.
Here, at BRAND MINDS, our vision is to inspire people to create a better world. The end goal is to improve people’s lives by giving them access to world-famous business thinkers and valuable growth opportunities that help them build sustainable companies, now and for the following generations.

KPI
KPIs help measure marketing effectiveness at the end of a campaign.
A common error that we see marketers do is confuse KPIs with marketing metrics.
Are KPIs and marketing metrics the same? No, they are not.
While marketing metrics measure everything, from the number of followers on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok to website traffic, email subscribers, MQLs, KPIs don’t measure everything, they are tied to a specific goal of a specific marketing campaign.
If you are looking to know about KPIs, I’ve put together a list of 20 essential KPIs you should be tracking to improve your marketing.
Innovation
What is innovation? Is it creativity?
Many say that innovation equals creativity.
Experts in both areas argue that creativity and innovation are not one and the same.
The key difference between creativity and innovation, they say, is that creativity refers to generating a fresh and new idea, whereas innovation implies initiating new service, product or solution which was not introduced to the market before.
Innovation is turning a new concept into commercial success or widespread use. Innovation emerges at the intersection of what is desirable to users, what is possible with technology and what is viable in the marketplace.
Think of innovative companies like Amazon, Netflix and Apple and you’ll see they check all three boxes: users, technology and marketplace.
